The Royal Faculty’s Triennial Dinner is one of the flagship social events of the legal calendar.
The dinner is an ideal event for members to socialise with colleagues in a relaxed setting, treat their clients and staff to a prestigious night out and support their Faculty.

The Hon. Lord John Scott K.C.
Lord Scott started out as a trainee solicitor with Hughes Dowdall in 1985. A long and illustrious career followed, most recently seeing his appointment as the first solicitor advocate to be appointed a senator of the College of Justice directly from practice and with solely criminal rights of audience.
Jim Robertson
Jim Robertson is one of Scotland’s most renowned after dinner speakers and a retired Procurator Fiscal. Jim worked as a criminal defence solicitor in Airdrie for 15 years and joined the Procurator Fiscal service in 1989. He was born and bred in Airdrie and when asked if he has lived there all his life, Jim replied, “not yet”.
• Ticket Price: £680 + vat for a table of 10
This will include a pre-dinner reception of sparkling wine + two glasses of wine at the table per guest.
Individual and part-table requests can also be accommodated.
• Order forms for wines and spirits will be sent out with tickets.
• All other drinks on a cash basis.
• Formalities expected to conclude at around 10.45pm.
